bed, 48-geriatric care bed hospital. The medical staff
includes 105 active physicians representing 24
specialties. The hospital offers emergency services,
surgical procedures, rehabilitation and a wellness
program in five local centers, home health services,
wound therapies, extensive radiology services, an
oncology center, cardiopulmonary services, a sleep
disorders center, and outpatient services.

(formerly Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center) is a
159-bed, general, acute care, not-for-profit community
hospital meeting the healthcare needs of the residents
of Schuylkill County. Specialties include emergency
medicine, cardiac services, diabetes and wound healing
care, senior behavioral health, acute inpatient rehab,
drug and alcohol counseling, outpatient services, and
same day surgery. The hospital is also well known for
